Job description
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new businesses through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Make a list of prospects from IT Technology, SaaS, HealthTech, EduTech etc. industries and reach out for new business development
- Ensure timely follow-ups, work references, and other required details are sent as requested by prospects
- Generate new business and achieve quarterly sales targets
- Build and nurture strong personal relationships with the existing clients
- Follow-up with the new leads and communicate business messaging and service offerings
- Be available for client calls / discussions / interactions as required
- Liaise between clients and team members / appropriate personnel
- Increase business from existing clients as and when the right opportunity arises
- Communicate / co-ordinate with the team members to get the work done and, when required, recruit external contractors for the non-routine tasks
- Keep track of work of all the clients, document all the important credentials
- Regular check-ins with the clients, timely follow-ups, and fulfilling the needs that they have
- Business development for the projects in digital marketing space (As per the requirement)
- Build relationships with future prospects through LinkedIn, stay active and connected with them
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ of sales / business development / account management experience
- Must possess strong customer service skills
- Must have good negotiation skills
- Must be able to create good presentations
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented and an active listener
- Ability to work under pressure
